Subsoil investigation works
Prior to civil engineering works on every infrastructural development such as buildings, roads, bridges, industrial/residential layout, a subsoil investigation is of paramount importance. It gives the civil engineers the information they need to provide economic foundation design of such infrastructure(s)
Environmental studies
Anthropogenic or geological activities often have their footprint in form of pollution in our environment. We identify, evaluate and mitigate the biophysical, social, and other relevant effects of projects prior to decision making and commitment in the host community.
This is also an instrument used to assess the potential environmental, social and health impacts of a proposed project, evaluate alternatives, and design appropriate environmental and social management plans during the life-cycle of the project and future SEA (Strategic Environmental Assessment).
Civil works
We also offer construction of pile caps on the installed piles as follow up service for deep foundation works. Water and sewage resource management design and structures including dams, drainage, ground water development, erosion and flood control are all inclusive.
Pile integrity Test
To ascertain the structural integrity of piles i.e the depth of termination, homogeneity and the symmetry of the installed piles, we carry out pile integrity test with the latest PIT equipment and interprets with certified manufacturer’s software to optimise the efficiency of our findings.
Pile load test
We use this fast and effective method to ascertain the structural integrity of piles i.e load bearing capacity at pile termination depth as well as anticipated settlement under applied structural load.
Pile installation
When the near surface soil has been adjudged unsuitable to support the proposed structure(s), deep foundation in form of piles are often required. We are capable of installing quite some pile types such as driven or bored pile up to 900mm diameter and beyond, cast-in –situ or precast pile types. Our range of equipments available for these types of pile installation works are listed as addendum to this profile and displayed inset.
Geological Investigation/Surveying
Services under this category include pre-purchase geological investigation, reconnaissance survey, field mapping, mineral extraction survey, quarry assessment survey etc. Field survey captures xenoliths in a granitic body. Each project has its own peculiarities, the field investigation format created by our geologists is proven. We provide cost-effective recommendations based on project type and its existing parameters. Thereafter, issue multiple copies of our findings to our client for submission to statutory agencies and record purpose.
